Opportunities to Speak About JVC Northwest

JVC Northwest campus recruiters travel hundreds of miles each year to visit colleges and share information about the opportunities available through the program. However, there is no story more powerful than a first-hand testimonial from a former Jesuit Volunteer who can personally share the impact that volunteer work had on their life.

You can be an influence simply by committing to two speaking engagements per year. This could include everything from a 15-minute presentation to a small campus organization to an hour-long conversation with a Catholic community group. If you are comfortable speaking about your experience and able to help where you live, please contact Leah Dahlin at ldahlin@jvcnorthwest.org or (503) 335-8202 to be connected to these opportunities.

Be a Resource for Current and Potential Volunteers

Current and potential volunteers, as well as their parents and families, may have questions about the JVC Northwest experience. Questions about service, housing, geographical regions or specific programs may arise during the application process or even throughout their year of service. If you would be willing to discuss your personal experience with concerned parties, please contact Leah Dahlin to express your interest. A simple phone call or conversation over a cup of coffee may open the door for another volunteer to be "ruined for life."
